Good Morning my Brothers and Sisters,

I am going to be exploring, this week, some of the reasons why we, in the body of Christ, may be facing difficulty in relationships. Beginning them, substaining them, reaching marriage, and ultimately separation or divorce. So, today I repost a presenstation that I offered sometime ago that may be encouraging to you on this day.

*** RESPONSES ARE APPRECIATED. LET US USE ALL THESE PRESENTATIONS AS THE SPARK TO GET TO DIALOUGE***

1 John 4;19-21 (KJV) We love him, because he first loved us. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

I sat and listened to the lyrics of the song 'Can I get a' from the soundtrack of Rush Hour 2. It occured to me that Jay-Z was asking the set of questions to a particular woman, and those poetic flows are actually the questions that we men ask of women all the time. What triggered the pondering of how to expose the Biblical viewpoint came as I replayed the last line before the chorus. 'If you couldn't see yourself with a Brova (edited for television) when his dough is low.... babygirl if this is so'

She can't see!! None of us can see that!! I mean, it takes another level of Love--and I would dare to say, "Especially for the woman"--to "see" that. Okay, before my Siszas all write in and tell me about the broke brother they took care of,allow me to ask you this question: Do you thank God for where that brother may be, within his life today? I ask that for the same reasons that my Brothers will ask about the woman who only 'seemed' satisfied with being his lady/woman/ girlfriend (ain't it a shame we didn't think that woman deserved to be our Wife?) at those times when we were doin' well, livin' large, had FAT POCKETS. These ponderings, like that song, need to be answered by investigating the source of what made the question come forward in the first place. "I can't see if you will Love ME?"

John's first epistle was written, as one Theologian states, for those Christians who faced new challenges to their faith. What is to be one of our most significant challenges? Love; here on earth; among each other, and the desire to connect; through perfect Love to reach out and grasp hands with our equal. I like, personally, to say that I know Christ will have blessed me; with my wife once I look upon her, and confess, like Adam, "This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh" (Genesis 2;23 KJV) all of this tracks back to our relationship with our first love. John writes in verse 19, "We love him, because he first loved us." Straight to the point!! No, 'could I hit it in the morning, without givin' you half of my dough/even worse, if I was broke would you want me?' What is being said here, in the scriptures, is "You are broke!!! And, YES I want you."

Real quick, let's run over to the Old Testament; to Hosea. It's after Proverbs, and before the New Testament. If you read what God (understand this is God speaking) said about the people of Isreal; Hosea 1;2 "The beginning of the word of the Lord by Hosea. And the Lord said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the Lord." You see the Lord knew exactly the kind of people he was dealing with. *HINT, HINT...... I said, "HINT, HINT!!* Now, go over to Hosea 2;1-7 "Say ye unto your brethern, Ammi; and to your sisters, Ruhamah. Plead with your mother, plead: for she is not my wife, neither am I her husband: let her therefore put away her whoredoms out of her sight, and her adulteries from between her breasts; Lest I strip her naked, and set her as in the day that she was born, and make her as a wilderness, and set her like a dry land, and slay her with thirst. And I will not have mercy upon her children; for they be the children of whoredoms. For their mother hath played the harlot: she that conceived them hath done shamefully: for she said, I will go after my lovers, that give me my bread and my water, my wool and my flax, mine oil and my drink. Therefore, behold, I will hedge up thy way with thorns, and make a wall, that she shall not find her paths. And she shall follow after her lovers, but she shall not overtake them; and she shall seek them, but shall not find them: then shall she say, I will go and return to my first husband; for then was it better with me than now." You see again God doing something that none of us, seemingly, can do. Continue to Love someone when they have clearly expressed, through word and deed, that they choose to not choose you. Oh, let me state for the record that I am one who finds it very difficult to understand how that kind of Love comes present. I am THANKFUL Christ shows it to me, and says I can show it to others, but I would be lying to all y'all if I said, "That's simple.... C'mon, I can do that. God loves me like that and I am able to love others like that too." Yeap, you have to be giggling at that one as well.

Back to Hosea. Before you read anymore of what I write, please read (and meditate on) how much God; through Jesus Christ, Loves you. Read Hosea 3;1-5 "Then said the Lord unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress according to the love of the Lord toward the children of Isreal, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine. So I bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silver, and for a homer of barley, and a half homer of barley: And I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be for another man: so will I also be for thee. For the children of Isreal shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim: Afterward shall the children of Isreal return, and seek the Lord their God, and David their king; and shall fear the Lord and his goodness in the latter days."

Now for my Biblical scholars, I know I am getting a SHOUT and a HALLELUJAH!!!!!!! For those that have a daily study, you might be in quiet reflection of how good God has been in your life and you are thanking Him for his Love for you, and the value that he has gave to you; for obtaining eternal life and relationship with him. For those that may be looking upon this writing, grasping at the cognative thought, "What does it all say for me?" I lead in with the words of the Apostle Paul; in his letter to the church at Corinth.
1 Corinthians 6;20 "For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's" Why must that be understood? Because you will be able to see that God's Love is constant. He Loves you with the same Love that He had for the children of Isreal. His desire to have them be his people is the same desire that He possesses for you; right now. This is why, at the beginning, I stated our quest for the understanding to know if it is truly us that the person 'wants' has to be answered by going to the FIRST LOVE we ever encountered. If anymore needs to be heaped on this presentation, I give to you the examination of the scriptures as written by Spiros Zodhiates, Th.D. concerning the actions of Hosea, himself (Hosea 3;1-5), "Hosea acts out God's buying back His strayed people. It is not a coincidence that the value of the items that Hosea paid to regain his own wife added up to thirty shekels."

Now read Matthew 26;15 "And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver." and John 3;16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." in succession, together.

Can I get a.... What! What!

My spirit is leaping at the amount of BREAKTHROUGH some are going to experience because of how the Lord will move this week concerning relationship. Understand that it is Him who has desire for you to be in RIGHT relationship; first, with Christ Jesus and then with each other.

Prayerfully you all will journey with me, and invite others to walk along side us. I look forward to the fellowship.
